Homesick Angel
Supernatural Drama • Mystery • Spiritual
When death suddenly stops working and Heaven falls silent, a fallen angel may be humanity’s only hope of restoring the connection between the living, the dead, and whatever waits beyond.
Logline
When the dead stop decaying and Heaven falls silent, a fallen angel, a scientist, and a pastor must rediscover the forgotten harmony between faith and humanity before the world destroys itself in fear.
About the Screenplay
Homesick Angel begins with an impossible global phenomenon: the dead have stopped decaying. Their bodies remain perfectly preserved, suspended between life and death while scientists, religious leaders, and governments struggle to explain what has happened.
Among the chaos walks Cael, an angel exiled to Earth centuries ago for breaking divine law. He knows what humanity does not—the connection between Heaven and the human world has been severed, leaving the dead unable to complete their journey. His path brings him together with Dr. Elara Voss, a scientist struggling with her own loss, and Pastor Jonas, a minister whose faith is being tested by Heaven’s silence.
As governments attempt to control the crisis and others exploit it for their own purposes, the three discover that the phenomenon known as the Stillness may not be a disease, punishment, or miracle. Instead, it reflects something humanity has lost within itself. Restoring what has been broken may require Cael to make one final sacrifice—and finally answer his own centuries-long desire to return home.
Homesick Angel is a supernatural drama exploring faith, grief, compassion, and humanity’s need to find meaning when science and belief can no longer provide easy answers.
